Who should be assigned an eLearning course?

There is no schedule to when an eLearning course should be issued, however some of the courses may be more relevant at a certain time of year, for example the seasonal driving course; it is recommended that this is sent out to all drivers coming into the winter months.

There are some eLearning courses that are specific to a drivers behaviour that can be assigned at any time, if a driver is identified as a high-risk driver, i.e. if a driver has been speeding, they should be assigned the speed awareness eLearning course immediately; don’t wait a month until their next course is ‘due’.

As good practice, we would suggest all drivers should receive an eLearning course every 1-2 months, as a continuous reminder of road safety.
